R.J. Craddock

Born Ruth Jerraisetti Harris in Oka Tamuning, Guam, Ruth is the youngest of eight children.

Ruth is a born storyteller. As a young child, she began telling stories, developing unique characters, and conjuring fantastical worlds in her mind. As she grew up, a thirst for literature overcame her and she devoured all kinds of books, finding kindred spirits in classic novelists such as Dickens, Bronte, and Fitzgerald. Over the years her imagination soared, weaving tales from Historical Fiction based in the Regency Era to Fantasy. From her never-ending well of ideas, she has begun dozens of novels. Ruth started writing her first novel at age eleven. After high school, she attended the Art Institute of Phoenix to pursue her other great passion: Art. Her most recent concept "The Thirteen Tribes of Cain" series has inspired her to aggressively pursue a career as a published author. She now has the first two novels of her Urban Fantasy series out,  "The Forsaken", came out May of 2013 and "The Offspring" was released in April of 2014.  Finally, Ruth's characters have their chance to leave the corners of her imagination and live out their lives through the magic of the printed word. Both of her novels are available
in print, nook, kindle and Smashwords format.

Ruth dedicated her novel, "The Forsaken", to her English Teacher, Mr. Fitzgerald, as well as her husband, Jonny Craddock. Her teacher for being the first to truly believe in her gift and her husband for pushing her to strive for greatness in all that she does. Without him, she would not be where she is today. Ruth originally comes from Orem Utah and lived with her family in Springville Utah until 2016. She now lives with her husband and their four sons and baby girl in Upstate New York.
